Azadeh Couture Spring 2013 Trunk Show

Recently, I was invited to the Azadeh Couture Spring ’13 trunk show at the Penninsula Hotel in Los Angeles. The fabrics were absolutely amazing.

The lovely hosts, Ladan and Azadeh, walked me through the collection explaining construction and fabrication in detail while a model showed some of their strongest day and evening wear.  Their best seller is a double faced viscose jersey (same fabrication as Louis Vuitton).  It creates body-hugging and figure-flattering silhouettes that do not wrinkle.  Perfect for the bi-coastal executive!

This minimal evening column in viscose jersey with keyhole back was an attest to Azadeh’s adept design hand with modern sleek silhouettes.  Perfect for any event. Go understated with a sculpted ponytail, gold hoops and cuff or go black tie with crusted drop earrings, bracelets and an up-do.

Buttery stretch leathers are another strong fabrication.  They had a scalloped-edge group that was totally modern yet utterly feminine in white and pastels.  Perfect for a spring luncheon or day event.  I want this dress!

A stunning party dress in Duchess silk satin with an embellished keyhole back.  A to die for statement color combination of chartreuse and black.  Loved the playfulness of the full skater skirt.
A frilly confection just in time for the spring party circuit.
Aris Geldis‘ event-worthy baubles were featured and will set off any red carpet dress. These ornate, one of a kind pieces add texture and shine and can be purchased at an Azadeh boutique or their eshop.
Azadeh has 3 boutiques in the San Francisco region where you can buy ready-to-wear, couture (perfect for those hard to fit sizes) and accessories.  You can also shop Azadeh at her e-shop or on Modewalk.   This collection is beautiful and worth a peek. Or, contact me and we can enjoy an Azadeh trunk show together in March!
