The Return of the Silk Scarf & How to Wear

Collage of images from Vogue magazine
There was a time when silk scarves were everything.  You collected them and wore them in a million ways; tied at the neck, over the shoulder with a belt or even made blossoms four neck.  For many years the silk scarf was replaced with something lofty wrapped around your neck but NOW the silk scarf has returned!
Wear it as a bandana style with a cool tee and leather pants, don one handkerchief style (you look slightly like a western bandit) with a edgy sweatshirt, tapered denim and  high tops or as Kedall does above, wear it as an ascot inside a blouse or sweater.  The possibilities are endless.  Scarves add pattern and color to any outfit.  They can camouflage a myriad of things like a bad hair day with a head wrap.  Scarves are a wearable piece art.  Embrace the latest ways to wear below and start building your collection for the first time or add to what you already own!
