In the great aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, and current devastation still absorbing the East Coast, it is easy to get overwhelmed and not know how one can help. Keep it simple. Start with your everyday activities but target the companies & brands that are using their businesses to help aid and relieve.

The next time you’re on Facebook, visit the Lord & Taylor page, click “like” and $1 will be donated to the American Red Cross. Then check out their website for discounts in essential men’s, women’s and kids’ apparel.
TRAVEL
If you’re booking holiday flights in the next couple of weeks, opt for jetBlue. For every $1 you donate to the American Red Cross, you’ll earn 6 True Blue points through 11/30/12.
WEAR
Sebastian Errazuriz is a New York based artist and designer. He and Grey Area designed the I STILL LOVE NY shirt (above), resembling the water line marked on the walls of the flooded galleries in New York’s Chelsea art district. Buy and 100% of the proceeds go to Hurricane Sandy relief programs.
