Finally! After my 3.5 years of LA living, Topshop has decided to join me on the west coast. Why is this a day to remember? Well. There is nothing quite like their trend-right (easy-on- the-pocket) skirt silhouettes & baubles. Now they are here, at the Grove, stocked to the gills with the latest looks for Spring’13.

Upon entering the two stories of fun in trend-land, you will find hordes of people snatching up clothes. Specialty pieces and dresses for event season are front and center with your accessories-of-choice located conveniently on your way to the registers. But wait, there’s more! Their massive shoe walls are just up the escalator, next to Topman. Perfect for trying on your new dancing kicks to the beats of their in-house DJ.
 Along the way I discovered, this tongue-in-cheek intarsia Mustang sweater by J.W. Anderson x Topshop. Total fun to pair with a printed pencil skirt or bright cobalt cropped pants. To finish off the look, I would pair nude/black/white ankle-strap heels. Like the song goes, ‘Nobody walks in LA!’

Topman is on my list of secret places to buy men’s suitings. They have sharp jacket and pant silhouettes in edgy colors, patterns and fabrics. Although they cut lean, Topman is the perfect place to pick up a suit for the man in your life who does not regularly wear a two-piece. Be sure to check out their suitings in white with black accents and their Hemmingway-in-Paris plaids. A fun way to update your stylish guy’s wardrobe. Fashion forward at an 1/8 of the cost. What’s not to love?
