Menswear Spring/Summer trends via America and China

Hello everyone on Madison ave, Melrose place and everywhere in between. My name is Crespatrick one of Meg’s assistants. I am a mens wear enthusiast. The craftsmanship of clothing and the art of style are active passions of mine. I’m always curious of why things are designed the way that they are and why people dress the way they do. I recently took a trip to China where I spent two weeks exploring the culture and people daily, noting the interpretation of fashion in the Far East. I saw influences of Japanese streetwear and lots of active wear. The younger generation is highly influenced by Italian sprezzatura lifestyle as well as Britan’s dandyism, with the occasional American rugged worker wear. Reading all kinds of menswear magazines is one of my favorite ways to stay up to date in fashion. While I was in China, I picked up a few Chinese fashion magazines including GQ China. I saw similar trends to the states and what they chose to highlight as well as others that Americans do not par take in. I wanted to take the rest of this post to highlight and compare a few current trends here in the states as well as in China.
