Big Dipper Oversized Tee by Free People |
As I sit and write this post I am in my loungewear. Yes, loungewear is a category in the world of fashion. A navigation point on shopping sites and a money maker for apparel companies. How much thought and merit do we actually give our comfy clothes? Why, look shlumpy and not chic when we sit comfortably at our desk or on our sofa?
I define loungewear as soft knit pieces that move from bedroom to sofa to home office. Its not fitness wear (too unstructured to jump around in) and can be street-ready when paired with cool shoes, jacket and accessories. In LA loungewear can go anywhere
(although I am a non-follower in this regard).
