Charles James, the master of perfectionism in clothing design, will be honored at the MET Gala. The Vogue magazine sponsored event will launch his upcoming costume exhibit, Charles James: Beyond Fashion at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. This is a rare opportunity to see his collection of work (mostly gowns) that were worn by handful of society swans. The stunning sartorial details of pleating, draping and visual illusions are showcased in this magnificent event from May 8th-August 10th.
