If you thought that the trouser trend was flattering, it’s next of kin is the modern Bermuda short! (Also known as the pull-on short, trouser short, and sometimes falls in the paper bag short category.) Why are these pants so amazing? These pull-on flowy shorts sport a longer leg that covers the larger part of the thigh, highlighting where your leg becomes thinner. We’re walking away from short shorts in favor of the Bermuda short’s flattering length! Many variations also include the comfort of an elastic waist, which is great for the post-covid comfort movement. Here’s how to wear the look:
In a casual setting, the shirt can be a crop top, tied in a knot to highlight your waist, or worn as an open button up with a tank top tucked in. If you’re looking to wear this piece in a creative, trendy or casual work space, try wearing it with a flowy button up blouse half tucked in.
