The Oversized Shirt, Two Versions

The oversized shirt silhouette is EVERYWHERE on social media and beyond. You can wear it with trousers, jeans and midi skirts, or use it as a top layer unbuttoned over athleisure, tank tops or dresses! It can be worn out, unbuttoned, half tucked or completely tucked in – the opportunities are endless!

While the look is fresh, easygoing and undoubtedly flattering – a lot of people are concerned about two things. First being, “What if my piece is too bulky to tuck in”? And second being, “What if the oversized silhouette looks like it’s swallowing me”?
If you’re having trouble styling the volume of the oversized shirt, you may prefer an oversized silk shirt. While it’s still oversized, the drapey fabric will tuck easier, as well as hang differently on the body giving a subdued oversized look.
